Updated November 21st, 2021 by Beau Boo Low: With Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine celebrating its 10th anniversary, the classic grimdark hack and slasher has recently seen a resurgence in popularity. As well as many fans redownloading the game there has also been a fresh influx of mods. The space marines are far from palate-swapped super soldiers, and each of their different legions has its own special traits and unique battle philosophy. Mods for Space Marine allow players to control any of their favorite legions, rather than just the ultramarines, as well as different soldiers within them such as chaplains and terminators. This list has been updated to include a few more amazing mods available for Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine.

Many mods made for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine have since been rendered obsolete by later versions of the game. Often these lost mods are recreated by the original author but this isn't always possible.

The True FOV addon changes the game's field of view, which is great for players who aren't keen on the game's original camera position. It also incorporates several lost mods, offering new weapons and armors that can't be easily found elsewhere. The 100 fov won't work perfectly due to the way the original game was designed, but many of the other alternate camera positions are perfectly functional.

The many different legions of space marines each have their own rich and interesting lore. One thing they all share however is their resilience on the battlefield, with one marine capable of fending off countless foes before finally being overwhelmed. As such, some players may seek out cheat mods to make their Astartes hero as invincible as they are in the lore.

While many mods include cheat modes that make the game even easier, some aim to make Space Marine more challenging. Veteran players who are passing the time waiting for the upcoming Warhammer 40k Darktide game may want to try this mod if they feel the game's combat is too easy.

There are countless smaller mods and patches that allow players to change the color of their armor, or swap standard weapons out for different ones. Players can make their protagonist completely customizable and play the game as a member of any space marine faction, including pre-heresy ones.

There were numerous DLC's released for Space Marine, however many of the features they offer are already provided by mods. Sadly Relic and THQ Nordic have no plans to make a sequel, but a group of dedicated fans have come up with the next best thing.

Space Marine Augmented not only attempts to update the game's graphics and fix its balance issues but also to collate other existing mods into one simple download packed with content. The developers of this mod have included new classic space marine weapons, such as power fists and thunder hammers, as well as the promise of whole new maps in future updates.

Some mods may require additional steps if they include texture packs or other files that change the core gameplay. Most will include instructions on how to install their particular mods so if you run into any problems, consult their instructions to see if anything was missed.1. This is one of the more unique Mount and Blade Warband mods on the list. As you will see from the later entries, a lot of the mods for Warband are conversion mods to bring Mount and Blade gameplay into well known pre-existing fantasy or fictional worlds.

The developers of this mod, however, have created their own low-fantasy world of Pendor, which is populated by several lords just begging to be united under your banner. It is comparatively difficult among the mods on this list, so be prepared for a bit of a challenge.

As with all Mount and Blade Warband mods, your goal is to assert your authority over the region, however, the map is extensive and covers a significant area. Each faction has unique units specific to their history and if you were getting bored of the base game, this mod will add scores of hours of gameplay to reignite your interest.

Warsword Conquest allows you to take command of the more popular Warhammer Fantasy races. Like most mods your goal is to establish your influence over the world, and to do that you will have to engage in war and there might be hammers involved. I highly recommend this mod to anyone who likes Warhammer.

Like most mods, this includes reskinned and unique units, a ton of unique items, and a new world to explore and conquer. Oh, did I mention it also includes Essos, the vast continent of the Old World? Just thought I should mention that as well.

While Fallout 4 might have its fair share of critics, the gameplay of this title is still phenomenal and worth the time of any person who wants to immerse themselves in a rich world for hundreds of hours. With mods, Fallout 4 can be improved and changed dramatically, with the game's genre being altered as well! If you want to turn Fallout 4 into an outright horror title, you can actually achieve just that with the following mods!

Updated on October 6, 2022 by Ritwik Mitra: Fallout 4 is one of the many Bethesda games that has been graced with a litany of impressive mods. Some of these mods make minor changes that fit into a vanilla experience, while others do a great job of overhauling the atmosphere and mechanics of the game to turn it into a totally different experience. So, it's actually quite possible to turn Fallout 4 into a horror experience, with the best mods aiding this transformation mentioned below.

neeher has released two horror mods for Fallout 4 in the form of small but spooky sidequests. Players will blast through these quests in an hour or less, but this time will feel like ages due to the chilling atmosphere of these mods.

With compelling personalities and custom voicework for its new characters, it's a staggeringly impressive mod and should absolutely be a part of your next playthrough. Not only does it give you more rewarding and immersive ways to create settlements, the introduction of a storyline gives you a real reason to put in all that work, too. And not only is Sim Settlements 2 a great mod, there are lots of mods for it, as other players have added new locations and layouts you can use. Here's the official site and wiki (opens in new tab) to help you get started.

Colonel, we have some excellent news for you. In light of your recent involvement with the Inquisition you have been selected for a highly sensitive mission. Please note that this mission is time critical and top secret; you are to proceed with the utmost haste and discretion. The Warhammer 40k: Blood & Iron pack is more than a modpack, it's a fully featured, story-driven world complete with an RPG system based off Fallouts, three factions, hundreds of quests, and much more. It features a unified modpack with numerous tech mods, weapons, armor, vehicles, new biomes, and multi-block aircraft.Team up with a faction to help decide the fate of Mortua, raise armies of NPC's that you can command, construct towns populated by NPC's of your own, and explore alien biomes. In the end, your choices and actions will determine whether Mortua is controlled by the forces of Chaos or the Imperium of Man.

Fallout 4 has a decent enough story to make it one of Bethesda's highest-rated games, but, after a few playthroughs, the narrative begins to wear a bit thin. Thankfully, there are a lot of quest mods available that can extend the story, add new plots to the game, or affect how it plays out in some truly creative ways.

The goal of these mods is to elongate and expand the Fallout 4 experience by offering more than just simple tasks to accomplish. Gamers should feel like they're part of something bigger, part of an adventure that capitalizes on the wasteland story of Fallout 4 in a sensible and probable manner. 2ff7e9595c
